At present, our group continues to develop a variety of new products based on oleochemistry, such as fatty acids and their derivatives, surfactants, and new petrochemical products. Fatty acids and their derivatives are widely used in items as household products like soap and detergents, as well as industrial products like nubber and plastics. Moreover, high-purity fatty acids and its derivatives developed by NOF corp have excited much interest based on characteristics and properties that surpassed expectations, and are now in use as pharmaceutical, cosmetics and health food ingredients. And our products are now targeting new markets of multi-functioned monomer and various types of polymers.
"Oil and Fats" are always new materials with great potential, and our group has developed various materials ranging from fatty acid chemistry to polymers, and targeting the new frontiers of life science and electronics.
